Chinese Dance

Aims

Chinese Dance aims to:

1. Expose students to different forms of Chinese Dance and inculcate in them a passion for the arts; and
2. Provide opportunities for students to learn life skills such as teamwork, professionalism and communication through dance performances.

Key events and achievements

Chinese New Year Concert 2022

Our dancers proudly showcased a performance titled, ‘Welcome The New Year’ at the school’s Chinese New Year Concert. The song was fun and catchy which made the performance a memorable one. The dance represents a symbolic call for good luck and more prosperity.

35th Speech and Prize-Giving Day Performance

Our students showcased a performance titled Na Yi Nian (那一年）which chronicled the travails of a war. The dance depicted the importance of not giving up despite facing setbacks, and illustrated the importance of resilience.
